Comarco Inc.: The Anaheim engineering, software and technical services company said its third-quarter earnings rose 53% to $458,000 from $299,000 for the year-earlier quarter. Revenue for the quarter ended Oct. 21 declined 11% to $16.4 million from $18.5 million. For the nine-month period, earnings rose 20% to $1.2 million from $1 million. Revenue dropped 12% to $53.5 million from $60.5 million. The company said strong cash flow and improved operating margins contributed to the profit gains.
