Walnut : Road Repair Project Is OKd

An agreement to resurface the deteriorated roadway along Valley Boulevard from Grand Avenue to Walnut’s boundary with Pomona was approved by the City Council Wednesday.
The $365,000 project will be jointly funded by Walnut, the City of Industry, Pomona and Los Angeles County. Walnut’s $63,000 share will be paid with federal urban aid money. Construction bids are expected to be advertised next month.
