Pasadena : Incentives for Housing

Developers who include low-income and senior citizen housing units in their projects can receive exemptions from zoning requirements, waiver of city fees, permission to build 50% more units than allowed under current zoning and speedy, 30-day processing.
The items were among those approved Tuesday by the Board of Directors in a package of incentives to encourage construction of affordable housing.
The incentives bring Pasadena in line with state regulations that went into effect in March.
