NO STATIC: Do effective corporate leaders come from one mold? No, says Judy Rosener of UCI’s Graduate School of Management. . . . Writing in the current Harvard Business Review on “Ways Women Lead,” Rosener says, “The command-and-control leadership style associated with men is not the only way to succeed.” Rosener made a splash four years ago when she coined the term “sexual static,” meaning the mixed signals, embarrassment and confusion when the sexes meet in the middle and upper reaches of corporate management.
