FILLMORE : Council Chooses Lee as New Mayor

Councilman Scott Lee was elected mayor of Fillmore by fellow council members during their regular meeting Tuesday. The five-member council, including two new members, chose Mike McMahan as mayor pro tem.
Lee, a high school teacher, and McMahan, part-owner of an oil-field service business, are halfway through their first terms on the council. Also in midterm is Roger Campbell, with six years of council experience.
