Irvine Lake Lunkers Abound After Planting

Irvine Lake was stocked Tuesday with 5,500 pounds of trout, some topping 10 pounds, and fishermen are having little trouble filling their stringers.
Joey Watanah of Fountain Valley caught a 12 1/4-pound rainbow on a chrome Kastmaster. The heaviest stringer was 24 pounds 12 ounces by Simi Valley’s Ken Ross.
