Cafe Break: A Parisian truck driver transporting paintings worth more than $5 million stopped at a cafe, leaving the ignition keys on the dashboard. Thieves drove off with the loot Wednesday, police said. Fifty canvases by Watteau, Fragonard, Rubens and others from Flemish, Dutch and French schools were on board the truck when the driver stopped just before midnight. When he emerged, he found that the truck had vanished with its contents. The artworks were being transported from Paris, where they had been on display, to Strasbourg in eastern France, where they were to have been auctioned today.
