Judge Halts Jacket Production: A federal judge in Los Angeles ordered Excelled Sheepskin & Leather Corp., a leather clothing manufacturer, to stop producing a fashion line that another clothier contends is an illegal knockoff of its own line. U.S. District Court Judge Manuel L. Real issued the preliminary injunction against the New York company pending the outcome of an unfair competition suit filed by North Beach Leather International Inc. (Case No. 90-5646. Ruling Issued Nov. 28, 1990.)
