Pettibone Will Coach Oregon State Football

Jerry Pettibone, who built a winning team at Northern Illinois and has served as recruiting coordinator for some of the country’s big-name college football programs, was named coach at Oregon State Wednesday.
The length of Pettibone’s contract and salary are being negotiated.
Pettibone, 51, replaces Dave Kragthorpe, who resigned after compiling a 17-48-2 record in six seasons.
