Continental to Fly to Frankfurt: The airline, which just filed for bankruptcy protection, announced that the daily nonstop service from Newark International Airport will begin June 1. Continental, which received approval for landing slots in the German city two weeks ago, said it delayed the announcement until it could lease a plane for the route. Frankfurt will become the airline’s 54th international destination.
