Bob Carpenter of the Boston Bruins will be sidelined for the rest of season after undergoing surgery on his left knee.
The Bruins reported that it was unclear whether Carpenter, 27, will be able to play again. A former King, Carpenter was injured as he slammed into the boards during a game Saturday against the Canadiens in Montreal.
