28 Albanians Escape to Yugoslavia on Rafts

BELGRADE, Yugoslavia — Twenty-eight Albanians used improvised rafts to cross the Bojana River and enter Yugoslavia early Tuesday, the state Tanjug news agency reported.
It said the group was made up of six children, four women and 18 men.
Albania, isolated by hard-line Communist rulers for decades, last week became the last European state to allow an opposition party.
