Serra 48, Mission Bay 46 (OT)--Justin Wible led Serra with 16 points and Serra (4-4) overcame a 31-15 halftime deficit with a 19-2 third quarter.
Poway 77, Pt. Loma 26--Poway (4-0) didn’t allow Point Loma to score in double figures in any of the four quarters. Kyle Milling scored 18 points for Poway.
Lt. Mitchell/Chart House Tournament
At Torrey Pines
Torrey Pines 89, Escondido 59--Freshman guard Eddie Montalvo and forward Craig Brown scored 15 points each to lead the Falcons (6-1). Escondido’s Damien Cephas scored 18.
De La Salle 98, Rancho Buena Vista 87--De La Salle (7-1) built a 49-32 lead at halftime and coasted into today’s championship bracket semifinals against San Clemente. Darryl Parker of RBV (2-4) had a game-high 43 points.
At Carlsbad
Carlsbad 77, Las Vegas Western 60--Guards Calvin Coleman and Chad Nelson accounted for 35 of Carlsbad’s points, as the Lancers (2-3) advanced to the consolation semifinals against Torrey Pines.
San Clemente vs. Dana Hills--San Clemente and Dana Hills will play their quarterfinal game at noon today, then play their semifinal games. Dana Hills failed to show for the scheduled 5:30 p.m. game Thursday, because it was not notified of a time change.
At San Dieguito
Oceanside 68, Orange Glen 58--The Pirates advanced to today’s consolation semifinal against West Anchorage behind Brian Scofield’s 21-point performance. Orange Glen was led by center Dennis Owens, who had 22.
Fallbrook 85, Vista 78--Vista outscored Fallbrook, 32-20, in the final quarter behind three three-point baskets by Chris Johnson but fell short. Fallbrook broke out to a 22-15 lead, as Chris Miller (24 points) and Bob Nolan (23) did all the scoring. Johnson finished with a game-high 30; Jason Barnes had 21 for Vista.
San Dieguito 53, Newport Harbor 47--San Dieguito had three players in double figures, led by Sean Howard with 20, and advanced to face Fallbrook in today’s championship bracket semifinals.
