Rachel Corelli scored 27 points and Sarah Guziel added 22 points and 10 rebounds as host Alemany (10-6) opened Mission League play by beating Bishop Montgomery (12-3), 63-55, Thursday night.

Thousand Oaks 72, Newbury Park 55--Michele Palmisano scored 29 points and Sasha Scardino added 11 for host Thousand Oaks (12-1, 1-0) in a Marmonte League game.
Rio Mesa 44, Santa Barbara 37--Marion Jones of Rio Mesa (7-3) scored 24 points in a Channel League opener.
Pacific Christian 37, L.A. Lutheran 29--Deonna Olson scored 13 points for visiting L. A. Lutheran in a Heritage League opener.
Holy Martyrs 53, Crossroads 50 (2 OTs)--Garine Abramians scored 17 points as Holy Martyrs (6-3) won a nonleague game.
