Arthur K. Carlson was named vice president for development at Dick Clark Restaurants, a unit of Burbank-based Dick Clark Productions Inc.
Carlson will oversee the introduction of the company’s American Bandstand Grill restaurants in selected cities. The company opened its first such restaurant, in Miami, last March.
Carlson previously was regional real estate director for Marriott Corp. in Los Angeles.
