Hollywood Bowl, Page Museum Prices Go Up
Los Angeles County supervisors on Thursday raised the cost of the highest-priced tickets at the Hollywood Bowl by an average $4 and hiked admission fees at the George C. Page Museum in Hancock Park and the Museum of Natural History in Exposition Park. The new fee schedule at the Hollywood Bowl leaves many minimum prices in effect. Prices for food and parking are slightly increased.
Adult admission to the natural history museums will increase from $3 to $4 Feb. 1 and to $5 on July 1. Children’s admission will increase from 75 cents to $1 on Feb. 1, with no additional increase proposed. The fee for seniors and students will increase from $1.50 to $2 on Feb. 1 and to $2.50 on July 1. Fees for special exhibits also will go up.
The museum has held the line on fees for more than three years and is asking for the increases as a result of higher exhibit costs and to provide continuing development and expansion of programs, according to officials.
