Alleged Gang Member Found Shot to Death

San Fernando police on Saturday were investigating the apparent shooting death of a suspected gang member whose body was found in a parked car on a San Fernando street.
Authorities said the body of the man, who was not identified pending notification of relatives, was discovered by a cab driver at 3:30 a.m. on the 1000 block of San Fernando Road. The man had been shot several times, and there were multiple bullet holes in the car, police said.
Sgt. Rico Castro said in a statement that the man was believed to be a member of a local gang.
