In other women’s games:

Canyons 64, Pierce 61--Canyons overcame a 25-point performance by Yolanda Davidian to upset Pierce (16-6, 1-2), ranked 10th in the state, in a WSC game at Pierce.

Kim Posey led Canyons (12-12, 1-2) with 16 points and Shannon Solway and Kim Daniels each added 12.

Pierce held a two-point halftime lead, but Canyons outscored the Brahmas, 33-28, in the second half.

Valley 82, Glendale 18--Tisa Rush scored a game-high 17 points and Wendy Bruse had 12 rebounds for Valley (22-3, 3-0) in a WSC game at Glendale.

MEN

Canyons 86, West L.A. 81--Nick Sanderson scored 25 points and David Langley added 13 points and seven assists for visiting Canyons (12-12, 2-1) in a WSC game.

Booker Waugh scored a game-high 27 points for West L. A. (0-3 in conference play).

Reggie Bell added 12 points for Canyons.

Oxnard 70, Santa Barbara 56--Shawn Talley scored 17 points and Don Mitchell and Andy Beltowski added 15 and 13 points, respectively, for Oxnard (13-11, 2-1) in a WSC game at Santa Barbara.
