The National Basketball Assn.’s All-Star Game, a No. 1 vs. No. 2 matchup in college basketball, Sugar Ray Leonard’s championship fight and the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic highlight the weekend’s sports television viewing choices.

Pro Basketball: The NBA All-Star Game has expanded to a three-day televised celebration. At 9 a.m. today, NBC (Channels 4, 36 and 39) and cable’s Nickelodeon and TNT networks air the “NBA All-Star Stay in School JAM,” with Michael Jordan, David Robinson and other NBA players and entertainment stars. All-Star Saturday, featuring the Gatorade Slam-Dunk Championship, the American Airlines/ITT Sheraton Shootout and the Shick Legends Classic begins at 4 p.m. on TNT. The game will air at 10:30 a.m. Sunday on Channels 4, 36 and 39 with Bob Costas and Mike Fratello reporting from the Charlotte Coliseum.

College Basketball: No. 1 Nevada Las Vegas will risk its 19-0 record and 30-game winning streak when it visits No. 2 Arkansas (23-1) for a 9 a.m. game Sunday on Channels 2 and 8, and No. 14 UCLA will try to avenge last month’s 82-77 loss to No. 5 Arizona (1 p.m., Channels 7, 3, 10 and 42.).

Other Sports: Sugar Ray Leonard challenges Terry Norris for the WBC super-welterweight title at 7 p.m. tonight on Showtime. Golf’s Bob Hope Chrysler Classic tees off at 1:30 p.m. today and Sunday on Channels 4, 36 and 39. The Kings skate against the St. Louis Blues at 5:30 p.m. today on Prime Ticket.
