Police have arrested three suspects in a Christmas Eve holdup at the Montgomery Ward store in Mission Valley Center, but were still searching Wednesday for more suspects, authorities said.
The arrests were made in the past month, and include an employee at the store, Leif Dion Ozier, 26, who allegedly waited outside during the holdup, San Diego police spokesman Lt. Jerry Moody said.
Also arrested were Antonio Terrell Lee, 18, and a 17-year-old whose name could not be released, Moody said.
Lee and the juvenile were allegedly two of three gunmen who entered the store shortly after it opened at 8 a.m. and forced security guards into the store offices, Moody said. The guards were tied with shoelaces, and the gunmen fled with about $80,000 in cash and gift certificates.
