Sherwin-Williams Co.: The Cleveland paint and coatings manufacturer said its first-quarter
profit fell 25% to $7.5 million. Revenue rose 6% to $528.1 million, partly because of the acquisitions of Krylon and DeSoto. The company blamed the sagging economy for the profit decline.
