Changing Directors: Marcus Stern, director of “Life Is a Dream” which was to have had its first preview Wednesday at the Los Angeles Theatre Center, has withdrawn from the production “by mutual agreement with LATC,” according to a spokeswoman for the theater. Co-director Sidney Montz replaces Stern, and Montz’s co-director will be LATC artistic director Bill Bushnell. Previews will now begin next Thursday and the new official opening is May 1. Stern could not be reached for comment.
