TALK’S NOT CHEAP

In reference to “With Pat or Tommy at the Mike, Talk’s Not Cheap,” by Steve Salerno (April 21), about Pat Riley and Tommy Lasorda on the speech circuit.

I would be interested in knowing the mind set and psychological makeup of our top corporate people who are dishing out $20,000 a shot to listen to the canned, junior-high-level bilge of a misguided greed-monger like Tommy Lasorda, who should save his pep talks for the half-illiterate baseball players who have a keener appreciation of his hogwash.
