Polygram Expands Holdings: Polygram Holding Inc. has purchased a majority interest in Great Southern Co., one of the world’s largest entertainment merchandisers, for an undisclosed sum. Great Southern’s clients include Bon Jovi, Robert Plant and ZZ Top. Under the deal, Ira Sokoloff will remain Great Southern’s president. Great Southern will be run out of a newly formed division at Polygram called Polygram Diversified Entertainment.
