ROADSIDE ATTRACTION: They won’t be as fun as the prophetic sign in “L.A. Story,” but two new electronic beacons will at least give traffic tips to freeway drivers passing through Anaheim on the Santa Ana Freeway. . . . The message boards will warn travelers of the road snarls that await and tell how to dodge them with alternate routes. Traffic engineers will operate them via computer as they monitor the freeway action on TV screens. Showtime: June, 1992.
