WASHINGTON — President Bush took part in the unveiling of his bust Thursday in the Capitol, quipping: “I can’t quite get used to this. I’m not even dead yet.”

Marble busts of all former vice presidents except Spiro T. Agnew are in the Capitol. Bush is the first sitting President to attend the unveiling of his vice presidential bust.
