The incumbents, Phyllis Papen and Donald C. Nardella, said they plan to run. The election will be held Nov. 5.
It will be the second election held by Diamond Bar, which incorporated as a city in 1989. Prospective candidates, including Papen and Nardella, must obtain signatures of at least 20 registered voters and complete other documents during the nomination period, which ends Aug. 9.
Those interested in running for office may contact the city clerk’s office at (714) 860-2489.
