Nation IN BRIEF : NEW YORK : Patients of Dentist With HIV Tested

State health officials are investigating the practice of an HIV-infected dentist in Coram, N.Y., who died last month and are offering HIV testing to his patients. It is the first such inquiry by the state. Philip M. Feldman, 45, practiced on Long Island from 1973 until the day before he died of pneumonia at Stony Brook University Hospital on June 19.
