International Indians Seek Columbus Boycott

ARCTIC VILLAGE, Alaska — Indian representatives passed a resolution Sunday calling for a boycott of any multinational corporation that helps celebrate the 500th anniversary of Christopher Columbus’ voyage to America.
Tribal leaders and delegates representing Indian nations in Canada, New Zealand, Mexico, Argentina, Panama and the United States attended the International Indian Treaty Council’s 13th annual General Assembly.
