HUNTINGTON BEACH : Emergency Response Meeting Scheduled

As part of a city effort to increase public awareness in the event of an earthquake or other major disaster, one in a series of neighborhood meetings is scheduled this week.
Fire Department spokeswoman Gloria Morrison will conduct a Citizens Emergency Response Team meeting at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Hope View School in Huntington Beach.
Thursday’s meeting is being coordinated by Jane Amico, a neighborhood resident, and her daughter, Dani Montoya. For information, call Amico or Montoya at (714) 848-4013.
