Girlfriend Questioned in Shooting

LAGUNA NIGUEL — A 54-year-old man was shot in the chest Monday, and his girlfriend was questioned in the shooting.
Adaro Guillermo remained in Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center after the 3:50 p.m. shooting.
Orange County sheriff’s deputies were still questioning his girlfriend, Joan Picha, 49, at her home late Monday night on Via Valverde, where the shooting occurred, apparently after an argument, Lt. Jay Mendez said.
