Graylings Make Journey to Lobdell Lake Worth It
- Share via
Remote little Lobdell Lake is becoming more popular as the only grayling fishery in the state.
“And it will only get better as the water gets lower,” says Rick Rockell of Ken’s Sporting Goods.
Rockell recommends using A.P. Black nymphs, size 16. There is no catch limit. Lobdell is 14 miles north of Bridgeport on California 395, then 10 miles east on a dirt road passable by vehicles with good clearance.
