What About Gobel?

It’s mind-boggling that the Emmy show failed to mention George Gobel in the tribute paid to TV personalities who died in the past year. George passed away Feb. 24.
It is ironic that the awards show was dedicated to comedy and that comedian and Emmy-winning Gobel had the top-rated show on NBC in the mid-’50s. His show-business career spanned more than 60 years.
