BOUNCING BACK? Superior Court Judge David Carter’s first taste of politics was the licking he took when he ran against Rep. Robert K. Dornan (R-Garden Grove) in 1986. But Carter’s efforts gained him much respect within the Democratic Party. . . . Now that Dornan may jump to the 45th District to run, many Democrats want Carter to run in Dornan’s home 46th. Carter is mum about it, but others point out that he still owns a home in the 46th--just in case.
