A two-car collision at a Westminster intersection Saturday morning caused only minor injuries for the six people involved.
A car driven by Pedro Castillo of Santa Ana was making a left turn onto Golden West Street from McFadden Avenue when it collided head on with an oncoming car driven by Oscar Torrez of Wilmington shortly after 10 a.m. Saturday, Westminster police said.
Castillo and his three children were treated at Western Medical Center-Santa Ana. Torrez and an unidentified passenger were treated at Humana Hospital-Huntington Beach.
The wreckage blocked westbound traffic on McFadden for most of the morning. The front ends of both cars were crumpled and the windshields were shattered. A child’s seat rested upside-down in the passenger seat of Castillo’s car.
