In the Angelus League:
Rosary 56, Mater Dei 48--Jennifer Chey scored 17 points for host Rosary (5-7, 1-1), which posted its first victory ever over Mater Dei.
In the Freeway League:
Fullerton 62, Sonora 42--Sommer McLane scored 30 points and Marinela Misa had 25 points for host Fullerton.
Troy 58, Sunny Hills 35--Dede Logemann scored 16 points for visiting Troy (10-3, 2-0).
In the Century League:
Canyon 57, Foothill 33--Guard Erin Waggoner scored 34 points in three quarters as Canyon (7-6, 2-0) won at Foothill.
El Modena 47, Santa Ana Valley 33--Jamie Shine had 20 points and 12 rebounds for host El Modena (6-5, 2-0).
In the Orange League:
Western 75, Valencia 72 (2 OT)--Western outscored host Valencia, 5-2, in the second overtime. Valencia (7-7, 0-1) forced the first overtime when Judy Hlavac banked in a three-pointer as time ran out in regulation to tie it, 69-69. Western returned the favor at the end of the first overtime when Linda Kaneko made a three-pointer from about 25 feet to tie it at, 70-70, as time ran out.
Brea-Olinda 111, Magnolia 22--Sarah Beckley had 32 points for visiting Brea-Olinda (13-2, 1-0), the top-ranked team in Orange County.
Savanna 74, Anaheim 30--Stacey Aliff scored 23 points and added 12 assists and five rebounds for Savanna (11-3).
In the Pacific Coast League:
Costa Mesa 90, Laguna Beach 40--Olivia DiCamilli scored 26 points and had eight rebounds for visiting Costa Mesa, which broke its single-game team scoring record. The Mustangs scored 85 points in a 1987 game. Heather Robinson added 17 points, 10 assists, seven rebounds and five steals for Costa Mesa (11-6, 2-0).
Estancia 43, Century 25--Monique Sweet scored 11 of her 18 points as Estancia (10-6, 2-0) outscored Century, 20-1, in the third quarter. Teammate Leah Braatz contributed nine of her 15 points to the run. She also had 14 rebounds. Lucy Guerrero scored 11 points for Century (10-4, 0-2).
In the Sunset League:
Huntington Beach 75, Westminster 33--Clare Walker scored 24 points and Tina Itow scored 22 points for Huntington Beach (9-6, 3-0).
Fountain Valley 68, Santa Ana 29--Julie Murdent scored 14 points for host Fountain Valley (8-8, 2-1).
Marina 48, Edison 45--Jessica Trippett had 22 points and 12 rebounds for visiting Marina (13-3, 2-1). Joan Paje had 17 points for Edison (5-7, 0-2).
