Stanford volleyball player Kristin Klein, a graduate of Marymount High, was named college player of the year by Volleyball Monthly.
UCLA’s Natalie Williams was named a first-team All-American and Bruin Annett Buckner was selected freshman of the year. UCLA’s Elaine Youngs made the third team and Carolyn Hueth of Pepperdine was an honorable-mention selection.
