ACL Technologies Acquired: ACL Technologies, a Santa Ana manufacturer of hydraulic and test equipment for the aerospace industry, said Friday that it has been acquired by AAI Corp. in Hunt Valley, Md., for an undisclosed price. AAI, which makes electronic gear for aircraft and training simulators, will run ACL as an independent division, said Henry Yoshimoto, ACL’s vice president of marketing. No layoffs are expected at ACL, which employs 140 people, he said. Thomas Wurzel has been appointed president of the ACL division, replacing former owner and President Joseph T. Abdo, who will become a consultant to the company.
