Picus Asks Reward for Information on Slaying

Los Angeles City Councilwoman Joy Picus asked the council Wednesday to post a $25,000 reward for information leading to the conviction of the killer of a West Hills man who police say was apparently shot at random.
Ronald G. Kleker, 26, who worked at a Century City law firm, was shot in the head Jan. 13 as he drove through a residential neighborhood in Woodland Hills.
Police have no leads or suspects.
In asking for the reward, Picus called the shooting an “act of obscene violence.”
Police have asked that anyone with information about the shooting call Detective Phil Quartararo at (818) 989-8546.
