Re “Why Do They Study So Hard, Yet Stay in America’s Basement?” by Eduardo Munoz, Personal Perspectives, Opinion, Jan. 19:
Munoz is guilty of fuzzy-headed liberal thinking that may be inspired by his interest in retaining his position as a teacher of illegal aliens. Our country has no obligation to provide an education of any kind to people who are here illegally.
It is distressing that you provide such a prominent forum for this ridiculous notion without, simultaneously, presenting the opposite view.
