Sean Gregson, a 6-foot-3, 265-pound defensive tackle, has transferred from Sacramento City College to Cal State Northridge. Gregson holds the Lincoln High record for sacks in a season (14).
The Cal State Northridge men’s and women’s track and field teams will compete against Fresno State and host Northern Arizona in a triangular meet at the Walkup Skydome in Flagstaff today.
The meet will begin at 10 a.m. with the 35-pound weight throw. The first running event--the semifinals of the women’s 55-meter low hurdles--will begin at 10:30 a.m.
Transfers Nate Wright and Erin Bailey will make their debuts for Northridge. Wright, runner-up in the 400-meter intermediate hurdles in the state junior college championships last year, will run in the 400. Bailey, runner-up in the long jump in last year’s Western State Conference meet, will compete in that event and in the triple jump.
