A Quartz Hill woman was found stabbed to death in her home, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said Wednesday.
The body of Dorothy Waguespack, 51, was found by deputies about 2 p.m. Tuesday in her house in the 5100 block of Ruby Court near Waterford Way, said Sgt. Robert Stoneman.
Waguespack’s daughter called authorities from a neighbor’s house after she became suspicious when she drove up to the house and noticed that the lights were on inside and the curtains were closed, Stoneman said. When she left the house a short time earlier, the curtains had been open and the lights off, he said.
Deputies had no motive for the slaying and no suspects, Stoneman said.
“There were signs of forced entry into the home and the woman was killed, but we don’t know if anything was stolen,” said Stoneman.
