GIRLS’ BASKETBALL PAIRINGS : Brea-Olinda Top Seed in Division III-AA

CERRITOS — Ten Orange County teams are seeded in the Southern Section girls’ basketball playoff pairings announced Monday.
The first round is Saturday, but several county teams will play qualifying games Wednesday. In Division III-AA, Brea-Olinda (24-2) is seeded No. 1, with El Dorado (17-6) seeded third and Newport Harbor (15-8) fourth.
In Division II-AA, Sea View League champion Tustin (18-7) is seeded third and Woodbridge (18-7) is fourth. In Division III-A, Pacific Coast League winner Costa Mesa (19-6) is second and Garden Grove League champion Rancho Alamitos (17-2) is third.
Other seeded county teams are Capistrano Valley (24-1) in Division I-AA, Calvary Chapel (18-3) in Division IV-A and Cal Lutheran (17-2) in Division V-A.
