Sites for Second-Round Games Set in Boys’ Basketball Playoffs

Los Alamitos won a coin toss and will play host to Irvine Tuesday night in the second round of the Southern Section Division I-A boys’ high school basketball playoffs.

Second-round games are scheduled for Tuesday in each of the section’s 10 divisions except IV-AA, which continues Friday.

County teams competing in second-round games Tuesday include:

Division I-AA--Lynwood (22-5) at Santa Ana Valley (13-10); Capistrano Valley (24-3) at Esperanza (17-10).

Division I-A--Mater Dei (27-1) at Arlington (19-7); Buena (20-5) at Marina (18-9); Irvine (22-5) at Los Alamitos (18-9); Indio (17-6) at Huntington Beach (17-10).

Division II-AA--Tustin (20-7) at Gahr (19-8); Sunny Hills (21-4) at Woodbridge (17-6).

Division II-A--Alemany (14-11) at Trabuco Hills (21-5); Mission Viejo (8-17) at Los Amigos (8-15); Valencia (14-9) at Buena Park (20-5); Kennedy (20-6) at Troy (15-10).
