Finland’s 16-year-old Olympic hero, Toni Nieminen, delighted his hometown crowd with a victory in a World Cup ski jumping event.
Nieminen, a double gold medalist at Albertville, jumped 91.5 meters and 90 meters at Lahti, Finland, for 234.9 points, 11.7 points better than Austria’s Ernst Vettori.
