Stubborn on the Issue of Wearing Mules

“Bravo” for the wit and humor of your opposing pieces on the subject of mules. Both Patt Morrison and Al Martinez wrote pieces that were fun, funny and a welcome departure from gloom and doom.

Don’t get me wrong. I adore gloom and doom--why else would I subscribe to The Times? But gloom and doom mean nothing unless you have a bit of harmless frivolity against which to measure it.
