Masked Gunman Robs Sports Card Shop

HUNTINGTON BEACH — A masked gunman robbed three men in a trading card shop of about $600 in cash on Wednesday and grabbed several trading cards before he fled, police said.
Investigators said no one was injured in the 11:25 a.m. robbery at AJ’s Sportscards. The gunman escaped.
Police said the man entered the shop at 15901 Golden West St., pulled out a semiautomatic handgun and forced two customers and the sole employee on the floor.
He took cash from the men’s wallets but apparently did not take any from the store cash register, Sgt. Louis Ochoa said.
The robber, described as in his mid-30s and 5-foot-6, was wearing a green stocking cap, gray ski mask, gray sweat jacket, blue jeans and light-colored gloves.
