A 9-year-old East San Diego runaway was found Saturday in a suburban video arcade, one day after his parents reported him missing, police said.
Alan Kim Thai, who lives in the 4200 block of Highland Ave., was reported missing after he did not report to school Friday morning.
Police said Thai instead went to the Yelllowbrick Road arcade at Grossmont Center mall and spent the day there with friends.
After sleeping at a friend’s home, the boy apparently returned to the arcade Saturday morning, where he was found by an uncle.
