Morton Mint has been elected president and chief executive of Price Stern Sloan Inc.
Mint, 47, was formerly president and chief executive of Viking/Penguin U.S.A., a unit of London-based Pearson.
Mint will join the firm April 15, filling a post that has been vacant since December, 1991.
The Los Angeles-based company publishes and distributes children’s books and related audio and videocassettes, cookbooks, humor and self-help books, calendars, puzzles and poster art.
