In Defense of Milken

Some years ago, I was sentenced to serve four consecutive terms of five years to life for selling $500 worth of pot. Ten and a half years later, I left a California prison with $40 and two changes of clothing. Like Milken, in the best tradition of free enterprise, I made money by serving the American public--to be exact, $25 on each of four sales.

Naturally, I am absolutely outraged that poor Mike is being forced to serve 40 months; then, to be kicked out into “free” society with only $125 million to his name. My God, what is this world coming to?
